  • Amelia is the Founder and Managing Director of Starpoint Group. She is a respected leader with over two decades of experience in community engagement, partnerships, and strategic communications spanning Australia and the UK.

    Her career is marked by a steadfast dedication to inclusive and sustainable development. A Churchill Fellow and expert in inclusive urban design, Amelia has made significant contributions to a diverse range of sectors including housing, disability services, ageing and wellness, digital transformation, future mobility, and the emerging energy sector.

    Amelia has held pivotal advisory roles with National, Executive and Ministerial Advisory Boards, influencing major sector reforms. She has also served on government, industry and community advisory boards.

    Amelia's passion for regional development is evident in her work with local councils, delivering impactful social infrastructure projects through collaborative partnerships.

    As Managing Director of Starpoint Group, Amelia continues to lead initiatives that drive positive change and leave a lasting impact across diverse sectors, embodying her commitment to a more inclusive and sustainable future.

  • Abbey is our Communications & Engagement Advisor.

    She graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2022 with a Bachelor of Communication & Media specialising in the areas of Visual Communication Design, Marketing & Human Geography.

    Abbey has professional experience in social media management, marketing strategy and graphic design, working with clients such as the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District and local businesses in the Southern Highlands.

    She has aspirations to meaningfully contribute in areas of social justice, particularly the disability, climate and education sectors, as well as in urban planning and gentrification.

  • Carlita has over 15 years’ experience in policy, public affairs, and stakeholder management spanning the tourism and transport sectors.

    She has held senior leadership positions at Australia’s largest and most reputable advocacy organisations including the Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF), Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) and the National Roads & Motorists’ Association (NRMA).

    Carlita has a strong understanding of economic development policy, future mobility and tourism, having worked with government and industry stakeholders to deliver nationally significant infrastructure projects and policy reform.

    Carlita takes pride in fostering positive working relationships with public and private stakeholders to bring evidence-based solutions to policy and community discussions.
